Abstract: This project will establish a basis for understanding past human lifeways in the Lower Salmon River Canyon by collecting and interpreting data on the area’s archeological chronology, geoarcheological context and paleoenvironmental history. Data will be collected, studied and presented under an interdisciplinary program, including archeology, geoarcheology, and public outreach. (In 2009 BLM changed the project number to L08AC14082.)
