Abstract: The purpose of this study is to provide for the collection of data and information which will be used as the basis for revising the Recreation Area Management Plan for the Owyhee National Wild River. The recreation management area covers an area of 73 river miles, and encompasses private land and land managed by the Bureau of Land Management. The process will include gathering sociological information, monitoring recreation use and user expectations and desires, interpreting collected data, and completing reports of the data needed to update and revise the existing Recreation Area Management Plan.
