Abstract: Research conducted previously has identified a series of potential indicators and standards of quality for the visitor experience on the Denali Park Road. Indicators were identified in a series of interviews conducted with several types of Denali Park Road users. Standards of quality for these indicators were measured in a follow-up survey in which respondents reported the minimum acceptable condition for these indicator variables using several evaluative dimensions. A remaining issue concerns the relative importance of indicator variables and how this affects attitudes and preferences for management alternatives that might be applied to the Denali Park Road. This Task Agreement addresses this issue through application of state choice analysis.
