Abstract: The Klamath Network is comprised of six National Park Service units in Southern Oregon and Northern California: Crater Lake National Park, Lava Beds National Monument, Lassen Volcanic National Park, Oregon Caves National Monument, Redwood National and State Parks, and Whiskeytown National Recreation Area. The Klamath Network Inventory and Monitoring Program has a number of inventory and monitoring projects underway that have important implications for interpretation in the network parks. This Task Agreement provides for the development of interpretive materials based on the themes selected collaboratively with the Klamath Network Inventory and Monitoring Program and the Interpretation Chiefs of the parks. It is anticipated that each year funding will be provided to allow three quarters of 0.5 FTE support for a graduate student in Environmental Education. The student will work closely with Dr. Janes, Klamath Inventory & Monitoring Staff, and park Interpreters to develop interpretive materials that utilize findings from the Inventory and Monitoring Program and that complement existing park offerings.
