Abstract: Because of water quality changes in Dexter Reservoir Oregon (see Figure 1), the Corps of Engineers is seeking a study of this reservoir in order to explore opportunities for water quality improvement. This study consists of the following objectives:
- A review of the literature and historical field data
- A limnological study of the reservoir
- Development of a water quality model of the system to evaluate existing water quality: dissolved
oxygen temperature and algae production - Use of this model to explore management alternatives to improve water quality
- Dissemination of study results to public and technical groups
