Abstract: The study is a necessary first step for making determinations of cultural affiliation under the terms of the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA) in the event of future inadvertent discoveries on federal lands in the Reserve. Likewise the results of the study will set the stage for future studies on the traditional uses of land and resources in the reserve and the conduct of inventories of ethnographically significant cultural resources
