Abstract: This financial assistance agreement is made and entered into by the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management, Oregon State Office (OSO), and the University of Washington (UW) for the purpose of updating the Flora of the Pacific Northwest reference manual, creating a website, regional checklist and apps for smartphones and tablets.
1. The objective is to generate a printed flora in a format resembling the 1973 Flora, including a similar layout with indented keys, line drawings adjacent to key leads, and familiar wording.
2. Secondary goals include the creation of an online web site for the Flora, a regional checklist, and identification apps for smartphones and tablets based on the Flora contents.
