Abstract: The project is a cooperative effort involving Oregon State University, NRCS, Wy’East SCD, and USDA to develop an irrigation management advisory program for Oregon irrigators. The project provides decision-support tools for irrigation managers through a web-based package of software that provides irrigation managers with a choice of three alternative levels of detail and sophistication, including: (1) basic irrigation scheduling procedures, (2) extended irrigation scheduling procedures with feedback, error detection and record-keeping options, and (3) advanced techniques for irrigation management when water supplies are seriously limited.
