Abstract: Over the past decade, the parks within the Sierra Nevada Network (SIEN) have undergone numerous inventories and mapping projects which have provided new and useful information on a wide range of resources, such as small mammals, river hydrology, geology, climate, and vegetation. SIEN has also recently implemented projects that monitor the condition of high-elevation forests, wetlands, bird communities, and lake water quality. The results from each of these inventory and monitoring projects must be summarized, published, and shared with park staff, cooperators, and the greater public. The Network has a number of reports and products that are partially complete and requires support in editing, formatting, publishing, and distributing these products. Through this collaborative project, UI will provide technical assistance to SIEN in completing inventory products, developing and formatting monitoring reports, and developing useful outreach products (such as resource briefs) for visitor centers.
