Abstract: To enhance recovery efforts for this endangered butterfly, project co-operators seek to better understand its biology. The project will assess behavioral use of Willow Corner by Fender’s blue butterfly, and map distribution of Kincaid’s lupine, and distribution and quality of nectar at Fir Butte. Results of this work will provide guidance on future restoration and conservation efforts for Fender’s blue butterfly in the Eugene, Oregon area, as well as broadly across the range of the species.
