Abstract: The purpose of this Task Agreement is to revise and update two draft NPS reports, compiled by the NPS Alaska Region Anthropologist. These two documents partially document off-road vehicle use in the harvest of a variety of wildlife species by residents of the communities of Kokhanok and Igiugig, both located on the west end of Lake Iliamna and traditionally associated with Katmai National Park and Preserve and the Alagnak Wild River. The Principal Investigator will combine the two earlier draft reports and compile information about the history and chronology of off-road vehicle use by Kokhanok and Igiugig for subsistence-related harvest in the final project report.
