Abstract: Conducts an air-quality monitoring study to estimate the potential for air quality impact of a proposed concentrated animal feeding operation (CAFO) on the nearby Minidoka National Historic Site (MIIN), which preserves the Minidoka Japanese internment camp site. Primary emission species of concern associated with the CAFO include ammonia (NH3), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), and particulate matter (PM10). The prinicple technical approach is the use of the CALPUFF Gaussian Puff Dispersion model, an EPA approved model for estimating air quality impacts.
