Abstract: The three purposes of the Yukon Military Overflight Study (YMOS) are: 1) to systematically collect information pertaining to Air Force overflights that is suitable to evaluate the impact of such overflights upon human use and enjoyment of selected natural areas;
2) to determine peoples’ expectations for encountering military overflights within the study areas;
3) to evaluate the current mitigation efforts employed by the Air Force and to determine their effectiveness in these study areas.
