Abstract: The vast majority of the museum archives at Fort Vancouver National Historic Site are not cataloged. This project, the processing and cataloging of the archival materials as well as the creation of finding aids, will make these materials more available to researchers as a part of a larger effort to support public history and public archaeology. The project will also make documents that are pertinent to resource management and planning more accessible. Students will be trained by the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site Curator and will gain valuable hands-on experience in handling historical museum collections.
