Abstract: Gather information that will help guide management of visitor use at Muir Woods National Monument, Alcatraz & San Mateo County NPS Parklands, utilizing the Visitor Experience Resource Protection framework; complete refinement of a Muir Woods crowding simulation model; and, assist the park in understanding the existing condition and quality of the visitor experience in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area by defining and monitoring a set of draft indicators to be adopted in the update to its General Management Plan.
