Abstract: [Through WO Brandon Riley briley@blm.gov] To collaborate on and support technical guidance in the development, sampling plan, research methodology, data analysis, and data reporting related to the annual survey of recreational visitors to selected BLM units across the national system. Additionally the SESRC will receive support to provide a website interface for the individual BLM sites to access project instructions, reporting forms, and previous year’s results. As this site currently contains 8 previous years of individual site and system reports for the BLM’s annual visitor satisfaction survey, continuing the research relationship will ensure high quality long-term data in one location. The SESRC will also provide real-time email and telephone assistance to BLM staff charged with distributing, collecting, shipping, and interpreting the results. Additionally, working in collaboration with the agency to develop the research project and then exposing students to all aspects of project implementation and
completion supports the Washington State University’s land grant research mission.
