Abstract: This is a collaborative project between the University of Idaho and the National Park Service to support the Upper Columbia Basin Network (UCBN) inventory and monitoring program by expanding technical capacity and science communication products for monitoring protocols implemented in several UCBN parks Objectives include GIS, database, and science communication support for sage grouse monitoring protocol development, development of standard operating procedures for Lemhi penstemon monitoring, data management for bat monitoring and acoustic detector recordings, data management for sagebrush steppe vegetation monitoring, and data merging procedures to inform new data visualization tools Science communication support includes development and improvement of monitoring protocol narratives and standard operating procedures, technical reports, resource briefs, posters, newsletters, and website content.
