Abstract: The purpose of this project is to gain technical assistance in the implementation of UCBN vegetation monitoring protocols, including the processing and management of monitoring data, and the development and sharing of derived data products. Technical assistance provided by the Ul will complement the work of NPS staff and expand the UCBN capacity to implement vegetation monitoring and deliver meaningful resource data and information to park visitors and the general public. Expected products include standard operating procedures for five-needle pine monitoring data management routines, as well as recommendations for improving sampling methods, data quality control procedures, and long-tenn trend analysis methods for camas lily and five-needle pine monitoring. In addition, a final report will summarize activities and recommendations developed under this Task Agreement.
