Abstract: Social information necessary to support the development of a backcountry management plan for Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve is needed. A work plan for collecting this social information will be developed. Upon approval of the work plan, additional funding will support data collection and analyses. These data will provide initial information about backcountry visitors and will inform the Visitor Experience and Resource Protection (VERP) planning process.
