Application Process

All individuals interested in attending the Principles of STI/HIV Research and Public Health Practice Course, must submit a general application in order to be considered for registration. Students intending to register for UW credit are also required to complete this application.

Applications are reviewed by the Course Directors. All applications must be received by the general application deadline.

Notification of acceptance will be sent via email. If your application is selected, you will be notified and given additional information on how to confirm participation and pay the course registration fee. Participation is not confirmed until course payment has been received in full.

Please note that application responses cannot be saved as a draft. You must complete the application once you start or start over another time. In order to help you prepare your responses ahead of time, a copy of the application can be viewed here.

If you are seeking financial assistance, please visit our scholarship page. Scholarships are limited and are assessed on the basis of merit with consideration of the country of origin and type of organization.

**No partial or daily course registration is possible. Requests for course auditing will not be granted. University of Washington faculty/staff/students are permitted to attend up to five lectures on a drop-in basis without registering for or enrolling in the course.
