  • course tuition waiver
  • course tuition waiver, plus accommodation* and meals for the duration of the course
  • course tuition waiver, plus accommodation* and meals for the duration of the course, plus travel support

*Accommodation is provided for a double-occupancy room with a person of the same sex. Scholarship awardees who have preference for a single-occupancy room will be responsible for paying the additional fee (approximately USD $480 – difference subject to change) on their own.

We usually award several international and several domestic scholarships per year. Scholarship recipients will be selected by Course Directors and are awarded based on evidence of merit and commitment to STI/HIV research, with consideration of the country of origin and type of organization.

Scholarship selection is very competitive, so we recommend that prospective participants seek external resources to attend the course whenever possible.
