Scholarship Application

You will have the opportunity to apply for a scholarship as part of your General Application.
A complete scholarship application consists of the following components:
- Completed application
- CV/Resume
CV/Resume
- Must be emailed directly to pshr@uw.edu
- Please indicate “CV/Resume” in the subject line of the email
Scholarship applications are reviewed by the Course Directors. All pieces must be received by the scholarship application deadline.
Incomplete applications that do not include all supporting pieces will not be considered.
Notification of scholarship award will be sent via email. Those who apply for a scholarship will be reviewed for general course acceptance as well, and will be notified if they have been accepted to participate but not granted a scholarship.
A limited number of scholarships are awarded each year to help cover the costs of course tuition for highly qualified students without the resources available to participate.
We usually award several international and several domestic scholarships per year. Scholarship recipients will be selected by Course Directors and are awarded based on evidence of merit and commitment to STI/HIV research, with consideration of the country of origin and type of organization.
Scholarship selection is very competitive, so we recommend that prospective participants seek external resources to attend the course whenever possible.
