Promote healthy behaviors and positive social development among diverse populations by using prevention principles rooted in rigorous science. We:

  • Conduct collaborative research on systems and factors that influence human development
  • Collect high-quality data to support our research
  • Develop and test effective prevention interventions
  • Disseminate and implement the interventions and expertise produced by our research
  • Advocate science-based solutions to health and behavior problems
  • Help human service organizations to build high-quality community-wide prevention into the services they offer
