The Evidence-Based Interventions

NCFS provides free consultation, training, and technical assistance in four evidence-based interventions. For more information, see below, or contact us.

Promoting First Relationships is for caregivers and children ages 0-5. Ten weekly one-hour home visits using a reflective parenting strategy promote secure, responsive caregiver-child relationships.

Guiding Good Choices is for caregivers of adolescents ages 9-14. Five weekly two-hour group sessions focus on skill building and practice, and target risk and protective factors.

Strengthening Families 10–14 is for caregivers and adolescents ages 10-14. Seven weekly two-hour group sessions with caregivers and children focus on skill building and strengths and prepares them for their teen years.

Families Facing the Future is for caregivers in OUD recovery and children ages 5-14. Sixteen weeks of bi-weekly 90-minute groups with nine months of weekly case management help caregivers maintain their recovery and build parenting skills.
