National Academy of Sciences Workshop: Family-Focused Interventions to Prevent Substance Use Disorders in Adolescence (May 5 and 6: Virtual and In-Person)

The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will host a 2-day public workshop examining family-focused interventions in primary health care settings that may prevent substance use disorders (SUDs) in adolescence. Speakers will discuss barriers to implementation for these interventions, examples of lessons learned from successful efforts to scale up such interventions, and policy efforts that may support these interventions.
