A 72 year old with intermittent L eye visual changes

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
1.) What is a transient ischemic attack (TIA)?

A transient ischemic attack involves transient ischemia in the right or left cerebral hemisphere with transient focal deficits and amaurosis fugax. The duration of the deficit is less than 24 hours and there are no permanent neurologic sequelae.
