Many providers and facilities outside of a medical center are not able to directly bill insurance companies for their services, but will provide clients with documentation for reimbursement from their insurance company. The providers on this list are all familiar with hair removal in preparation for gender affirming surgery, as well as working with transgender and gender non-binary clients. Please contact these providers to ask about their availability and pricing, as well as your insurance for questions about how you can be reimbursed. We are working towards offering pre-surgical hair removal at UWM in 2023, but it is not available at this time.
