In 2002 the Abuja Agreement As of 2007 Sierra Leone is at peace. They are expecting an upcoming national election. Diamonds today are now looked as recourses that the country produces. The country continues to be apart of the Kimberly Process and has exported around $142 million dollars worth of diamonds in 2005.
