2019 Discovery Days

About this Event

Discovery Days is here again! This two day event is hosted by the University of Washington College of Engineering and aims to bring the exiting work of engineers to students, teachers, families, and the surrounding community through hands-activities. Each department has the opportunity to set up activities aimed towards elementary and middle schoolers and share engineering ideas with the community. In the past, Chemical Engineering has set up exhibits including Walk on Water (non-Newtonian fluid), Cloud in a Bottle, Engin-earings (oxidized titanium jewelry), liquid nitrogen, polymer worms, and more!
