Programs

With a diverse array of courses to choose from, taught by distinguished UW professors and visiting scholars, Canadian Studies students develop in-depth knowledge of our neighbor to the north.

Through the courses in the Canadian Studies program at the Jackson School of International Studies, students gain an understanding of the Canadian people in their culture, political, economic and environmental setting. Coursework is available in many areas, including creative arts, environmental studies, First Nations, information studies, literature and social change and institutions.

The state, the U.S. Department of Education, the Canadian Embassy and private donations help to support the prestigious UW program.
