Health Canada granted a license to Medtronic Canada’s MiniMed 630G insulin pump system for treating patients with diabetes mellitus. The system, which is expected to be released in the country early next year, alerts patients when its sensor is at a preset low threshold and suspends insulin delivery when the user is not responsive to the warning.
