Researchers evaluated more than 750 scientific articles and found
that health care professionals in the US lack clinical resources to help them
identify older type 2 diabetes patients at risk of hypoglycemia. The findings
in The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism
suggested that health care professionals should work from the same quality
initiatives, such as the Endocrine Society’s Hypoglycemia Prevention program.
