Orca Bowl 2016

Two teams from Friday Harbor High School competed at the Orca Bowl on February 27, 2016 on the University of Washington's main campus in Seattle.
Team A: Kendra Pew, Fiona Sutherland, Cole Thomas, Corbin Williams, and Echo Wood
Team B: Jaclyn Domenech, Kai Herko, Joseph Kaden, Cheri Lanham, and
Annamarie Thomas
We are delighted that the Friday Harbor teams participated in this intense ocean sciences competition to represent San Juan Island in a brilliant group of 20 teams coming from the four corners of Washington State. Orca Bowl is coordinated by Washington Sea Grant. The day-long event raises awareness on ocean science and issues throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Thank you, coach Derek Smith and assistant coach Meegan Corcoran for your dedication to the Friday Harbor High School teams. We look forward to seeing your teams compete again in 2017.
