School Programs

The goal of the Friday Harbor Labs Science Outreach Program is to give students the opportunity to be actively involved in the processes of science through relevant, inquiry-based projects that foster students to become scientifically educated stewards of our island marine and freshwater environments.

We work directly with local K-12 teachers when developing projects for students. As a result, we have developed a unique set of hands-on projects specifically designed to complement and enhance the current science curriculum at local schools.
