EMAPP is designing an open-source smartphone application that will help us to capture Ecological Momentary Assessment data (momentary data in real-time). Although other apps exist, many do not meet the specific needs of our research.  This application will be immensely useful in our research as we explore the impact  of new technologies on teens mental health.

Target Participants

Teens.

Research Questions

  1. How can we design an EMA application that teens enjoy using?
  2. How can we ensure the app is capturing accurate data in real-time?
  3. Does teen gender impact robot design?
