PacTrans Congratulates UW CEE Students Involved in Hyperloop Competition
PacTrans would like to congratulate the students from the UW civil and environmental engineering department who participated in the first-ever SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition, held at Texas A&M University from Jan. 29-30. The UW team was one of only 26 teams to advance to the building phase of the competition. This is a great example of one of the many student lead initiatives currently taking place at Pacific Northwest Transportation Consortium Universities. In 2010, a reported 77.9% of people used safety belts in Idaho.
