PacTrans and the Center for Safety Equity in Transportation (CSET) invite investors and those interested in the field of transportation to the Region 10 Transportation Conference, planned to be held for Oct. 12 at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

The conference will feature different sessions at which a variety of topics in transportation will be covered, including mobility and the research dedicated to improving it, safety measures in rural and indigenous areas, controversies surrounding technology, and a conversation on isolation in a transportation context.

CSET’s mission is to address safety needs in rural, isolated, tribal, and indigenous areas, and provide context-sensitive transportation solutions. The organization attempts to solve the problems these communities face by offering them easy access to a safe transportation system while maintaining sensitivity towards their traditions and preserving their culture.
