pacific nw transportation consortium region 10 Pactrans

On May 28, 2026, PacTrans convened an in-person Board of Directors meeting on the University of Washington campus in Seattle, Washington. We regularly host board meetings in order to discuss new developments, evaluate our processes, brainstorm new opportunities, and give updates on current activities.

During this Board meeting, we discussed important USDOT Reporting Updates, the BUILD America 250 Act, and voted on updates to the consortium’s research proposal review process. Each partner university also gave updates on current and recently completed activities, and six UW PacTrans funded PIs gave updates on the progress of their ongoing research projects. Many great ideas were generated for improving the way we foster and support research, workforce development, education, outreach, and technology transfer.

The next in-person board meeting will include the PacTrans Advisory Board and will take place in Anchorage, Alaska on October 8, coinciding with the 2026 Region 10 Transportation Conference (which is open now for registration!)
