Position Details
The University of Washington (UW), Department of the Interior, and Washington Departments of Ecology, Natural Resources, and Fish and Wildlife formed the Washington Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit (WACFWRU) in 1988 to address the research needs of the cooperating natural resource management agencies and contribute to the associated academic programs at the UW. The Unit is currently unique within the national Cooperative Research Units Program in the number of cooperating federal (U.S. Geological Survey [USGS], U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service) and state agencies and universities (UW as host university and Washington State University). Together we seek to hire a new full-time (100% FTE) WACFWRU Assistant Unit Leader on a 12-month, multi-year basis, who also holds the title of either Assistant Professor Without Tenure, Associate Professor Without Tenure or Professor Without Tenure at the UW.
