Instructions for screen SRF405

This screen is used by Data Services to manually post grades to a student's record before the first grade run. Grades entered on this screen can be viewed on the SRF100A and SRU610 screens. These grades transfer to the SRF316 screen as a part of the first grade posting for the quarter. After initial grade posting occurs, the 405 screen is no longer available for that quarter. The SRU316 screen is used after the first grade run to manually post grades.

On this screen, some codes and the meanings are displayed. For instance, CLASS: 03-Junior and ENROLLMENT STATUS:12-REGISTERED.

  • SLN The actual schedule line number of the course.
  • DUP An "A" entry in this field means the student dropped and then re-added the course more than once. If there is a "B" the course was dropped and re-added a second time, etc.

The two grades earned will be averaged together to count toward qraduation. If there is a 2, the course will not count for graduation and the GPA will not be figured into the course grade. SU an entry in this field indicates either an A term or B term course during summer quarter.
  • GRADE DT the date the grade is entered into the system.
  • GRD DOC ID each faculty grade report is assigned a number when grades are scanned. This number is used to locate the grade sheet to find the student's grade.
  • GRD the actual grade the student earned. W is used to indicate writing credit toward graduation requirements was earned with this course.
