The blurring of entertainment and advertising have become a standard practice in all media formats. Sometimes media produces and advertisers can be very clever in hiding their real intentions—test your media savvy skills to see if you can look behind the entertainment to detect what is really for sale.

Consider the game pictured below: Chip Blaster. To play, the user clicks the mouse to make the "Chip Blaster" gun shoot chips into cookies as the cookies advance down the conveyor belts. Points are received for each "full" cookie.

1) What is the main goal of the game featured in this example?
2) Is this an advertisement? If so, what is the product for sale?
3) Who is the advertiser?
4) Why would an advertiser use this approach?
5) How is this example linked to Body Image & Nutrition?
