HELLO! First of all I'd like to say hi to all the Fordan's out there, Hey! And I'd like to say hi to my grandma, Hi Nanay! And thank my parents for their love for me. I also like to say hi to my sweetie heart Mr. Romel D Jr. (Jon-Jon). As you might already know my name is Christine T. I been a Seattle native all my life but I am of Filipino descent. I go to Cleveland High School home of the EAGLES! HEY! All you eagle fans! And I am a member of the class of nineteen hundred and ninety-six (96).



The Upward Bound Program:

This is my second year in Upward Bound. My first year, I really didn't think that going to summer school was my thing. But it turned out better than I excepted. I got to know people from Natan Hale and got better acquainted with the people at Cleveland. I also got to know my way around U-dub especially at the Ave. But its not all about summer school UB helped with paying for my PSAT's, SAT's, and my scholarship letters. They also helped with SAT's by testing us weekly. Yet with all this work I have been guided by the best know it all's at U.W., the Upward Bound staff.


Being on-line through the World Wide Web:

As life goes on you learn new things. This is the very first time I have worked with Internet. I really didn't think that I could be able to help create a Web Pages.

The editors had an important job to take. We were the ones to put it together. Without the help of our advisor, Frank who was at our beck and call, we would not know how to put it all together.

The most important thing about being on line is that our story would be in most computers. In fact it could be around the world. People would be able to see and here about the Upward Bound program at University of Washington.


Interests:

Basketball
Its a running sport to win you have to play hard.
Working as a team appeals to me.
Shotting that basket gives me the power to play even better.
Volleyball
Hitting the volleyball lets me forget about the troubles I have in life.
Being able to reach up and spike that volleyball is a thrill.
It is a sport that lets you be an individual as well as playing on a team.
Being a leader
It is fun to have people actually listening to what you have to say.
Being in charge of all the activites.
Taking part of something you can be proud of.
Hawaii
The beautiful scenic views.
The welcoming natives.

I would just like to say HELLO! & GOODBYE! to all of the Upward Bounders this year and last year. Its been fun but the SENIORS (96) have to go bye! bye! I also want this oppurtunity to say my farewells to the Web Staff. I had fun looking at the blue screen, laughing with Erhiza and Chien and goofing off with Christina and Maxine. As I close my page I'd just want to say to Erhiza HA! HA!. And an 17-31707-1 to Jon-Jon! So long and Nite Nite to you all!
