VIVE Visual Design Internship:
Job Summary:
The VIVE team is looking for a Visual Design Intern seeking real world experience creating finished assets to be used in a variety of campaigns. The ideal candidate will show a talent and technical aptitude to deliver outstanding solutions for visual design projects related to VR.
Opportunity:
You contribute to HTC’s success by partnering with team members such as design leads, copywriters, product managers and marketing team members to support the in-market activation of VIVE and VIVE related products.
Contribute:
- Production design of flyers, posters, web pages, ads and other creative assets.
- Participate in ideation and conceptual development.
- Create visual designs that effectively communicate product function and brand identity.
- Successfully communicate conceptual ideas and detailed design both visually and verbally.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in, or graduate of a relevant design program (either graduate or undergraduate).
- Portfolio that demonstrates excellent design standards.
- Proficiency in Adobe CS (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Comfortable with wire-framing and prototyping.
- Understanding of responsive web design (basic HTML and CSS).
- Ability to design in different styles and media formats.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to evolve designs at the request of team.
- Ability to work within design barriers and tight deadlines.
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
