Time:
8:30am - 4:15pm
Location:
University of Washington, HUB 310

The meeting included:

  • A Center activities report
  • Updates from current and new AMTAS PIs about their research

Outcomes of Research/Education Topics Discussion

There was vigorous discussion of potential new research and short course topics .

The following topics appeared to be of most interest (not in priority order):

  • Control of cure procedures during repair
  • Long-term durability
  • Facesheet delamination–internal pressures
  • Over-cooked parts–heat degradation
  • Systematic study of variability
  • FEA short course—include optimization and real-world case studies
