The American Diabetes Association’s 2026 Standards of Care in Diabetes include recommendations on expanded use of continuous glucose monitoring and updated guidance on obesity treatment and glycemic management during cancer treatment. The new standards also address individualized dosing of obesity drugs for people with diabetes and the removal of certain treatment requirements for insulin pump therapy.
