Administrative Core

The Administrative Core supports the Diabetes Research Center in its primary mission to enhance research, education and training in diabetes, obesity and related disorders at the University of Washington and in the Greater Seattle area.

The Administrative Core is responsible for the following functions that are integral to the successful functioning of the Diabetes Research Center:

• Coordinating and managing the Pilot and Feasibility Program and Enrichment Program;
• Performing evaluations of ongoing Center activities, functions and services in order to improve the services offered to the research community studying diabetes and related disorders;
• Planning future Center activities, including partnering with other University of Washington centers and organizations as well as non-University of Washington institutions in and outside Seattle; and
• Managing the Center’s website.
