Retatrutide tied to weight loss, pain reduction

Eli Lilly’s retatrutide, a once-weekly injectable triple agonist, led to weight loss of up to 28.7% and reduced pain for people with obesity and knee osteoarthritis, according to results of a 68-week Phase 3 trial. The trial involved 445 adults and showed improvements in weight loss and pain reduction compared with a placebo. Retatrutide also improved cholesterol, triglycerides and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein.
