Our mission

The mission of the Global Health Justice Team is to encourage global health professionals to acknowledge and address the inequities and unethical practices within our field, with the goal of building a more just discipline. Our work will encourage global health professionals to look in the mirror. We seek to acknowledge and address the unspoken yet consequential harms that we cause in the name of do-gooding. We hope to shine a light on injustices across the field of global health, and devote specific attention to under-researched, and poorly addressed issues across our field. We aim to be equal parts resource and provocateur. We hope you will join us in helping to realize a vision of a more just global health field, and a healthier world.
