GPSS-Interdisciplinary-Grad-Research-Symposium (PDF)
GPSS is hosting the first post-COVID interdisciplinary graduate research symposium. The symposium will take place on April 4th, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the HUB Ballroom (2nd floor).
We are looking for polished research that is ready to present by April 2024. All graduate disciplines are welcome to apply.
The deadline for submission is on February 15th, 2024.
FAQ
Are there any requirements for me to present?
- No memberships are required other being a graduate student at the Seattle, Bothell, and Tacoma campuses
- Any degree granting program is eligible, you do not have to be in STEM-related field
Can I present if I’m a master’s student? Is this only for PhDs?
- This is for all graduate students!
What work can be presented?
- You can present work from previous institutions, conferences, undergrad…etc. You can also present your capstone and more than one person can present a poster.
Do you provide printing services, where can I print out posters?
- We do not provide printing services, however, here is where you print your poster:

- Poster Format Guidelines:
- Standardized sizing: ratio 24” by 36”, or 2 : 3 ratios

- We will accept horizontal posters
What is the format of the symposium?
- Light refreshments will be provided
- The first half will be lightning talks (about 3 minutes)
- The latter half will be poster board presentation – mingle with other researchers!
