Caroline Stein, DDS, MSc, PhD is a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington (IHME-UW) working on the gender equality metrics team. Dr. Stein holds a Postdoctoral in Epidemiology at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS-Brazil) and completed her doctoral work in Dental Public Health (UFRGS-Brazil) where her research focused on socioeconomic inequalities and oral health, non-communicable diseases, and health services.
